Good morning, crafty friends!

September has already brought one major family change—and tomorrow, Lance and I are heading off on an adventure of our own.

Zac Has Officially “Figured It Out”

If you’ve been following along, you’ll know Zac moved out on my 50th birthday earlier this month. He has now finished his second week of first-year university.

He’s a man of few words, but the reports are good: he’s enjoying his classes, has made plenty of new friends and found his way around campus without any trouble.

Apparently, he has “figured it out”—exactly as he kept telling me he would. 😉

We’re happy knowing he’s doing well, even as we adjust to this big change at home. Thank you to everyone who checked in, offered reassurance or reminded me that he would be just fine. You were right, and your kindness meant a lot. 💜

Next Stop: Rome

Tomorrow, Lance and I leave for another adventure with our friends Kristie and Peter.

We’ll be visiting four countries, beginning in Rome, Italy, and finishing in Paris, France—clearly our favourites. 🇮🇹🇫🇷

The trip involves planes, trains, automobiles and a few marine vessels. What could possibly go wrong? 😂

I’ve spent the past several weeks preparing tutorials, blog posts and PDFs, so your weekly crafting inspiration will continue while I’m away. The “Live” videos will look a little different because they’ve been pre-recorded, but you can still expect the same projects, practical tips and laughs.

Previous attempts to manage my business page while travelling confused Facebook in ways I still don’t understand. This time, everything is scheduled in advance.

I’ll share travel updates on my personal Facebook page instead. If we aren’t friends yet and you’d like to follow along, send me a friend request.
