Good evening, crafty friends!

Yesterday was our first community crafting day, and I treated myself to something I don’t often get to do: sit down and make someone else’s card kit.

I spend plenty of time preparing kits for others (and I love it! Obviously), so taking Kate’s sunflower class was a lovely change. Beautiful pieces ready to go, my glue at hand, and company around the table/room. More of that, please.

I fully intended to pop on live from the event—and then got busy getting set up and checking crafer in for the day. Thank you to Terry for checking where I’d disappeared to! 😂

So this week’s tutorial became a Sunday morning craft, and we’re switching over to Christmas.

This holiday fun fold has a layered white poinsettia, cheerful patterned paper, and a sentiment that helps hold the card upright.

The little detail that makes it work? Put your Stampin’ Dimensionals along the bottom portion of the sentiment only. That leaves room for the focal panel to tuck behind the top.

If you’re making several Christmas cards, finish one first and use it as your placement guide. You can cut two main bases from one sheet of cardstock, then prepare the extra panels separately. One design, fewer decisions.
